1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Keep My Prompts, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Keep My Prompts is a platform for organizing and managing AI prompts. The service includes:

Storage and organization of prompts with AES-256-GCM encryption
Categorization with custom categories and tags
Prompt version history with quality rating snapshots
Sharing prompts via secure links
AI-powered prompt analysis (Prompt Score) and optimization (Promptimizer Agent)
Team plans for collaborative prompt management

3. User Account

To use the service, you must create an account via email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Content and Encryption

You retain full ownership of all content you create on Keep My Prompts. Your prompt data (title, content, notes) is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored in our database. We cannot read your encrypted data. However:

You are responsible for the content you upload
You must not upload illegal or harmful content
You grant us the right to store your encrypted content and display it back to you to provide the service
Your content is never sold, shared, or used for training AI models

5. AI-Powered Features

Keep My Prompts offers AI features that process your prompt content through third-party AI services:

Prompt Score: analyzes your prompts on 6 quality criteria and provides a rating with actionable tips
Promptimizer Agent: generates 3 optimized variants of your prompt using different strategies and tests each one
These features send your prompt content to the Perplexity API for processing. No personal data (email, name, account info) is sent - only the prompt text
AI features are available only on eligible paid plans, subject to monthly usage limits
We reserve the right to refuse optimization of prompts that violate content policies (e.g., requests involving personal data gathering, surveillance, or harmful activities)
AI-generated results (scores, optimized variants) are provided as suggestions. We do not guarantee their accuracy or fitness for any specific purpose

6. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property on Keep My Prompts is managed according to the following guidelines:

Your Content: You retain all intellectual property rights to the prompts, categories, tags, and notes you create. The service claims no ownership over your content
Limited License: You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide you the service
AI-Generated Content: Prompt variants generated by the Promptimizer Agent are considered derivative works of your original content. You retain all rights to this generated content
Trademarks and Logos: 'Keep My Prompts', the prompt cursor logo, and all associated trademarks are exclusive property of the service. You may not use them without written permission
Software and Code: The source code, algorithms, user interfaces, and service design are protected by copyright and remain our exclusive property
Feedback and Suggestions: Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without compensation to improve the service
Shared Content: When you share a prompt via public link, you grant other users the right to view and copy that prompt for personal use, but not to claim ownership
Violations: We will promptly report any intellectual property violations to the appropriate authorities and suspend violating accounts

7. Team Plans

Team plans allow collaborative prompt management. By using a Team plan:

The team manager (owner) is responsible for managing team membership and invitations
Team prompts are shared among all team members and encrypted with the same AES-256-GCM standard
If the team manager leaves or is removed, a 14-day grace period begins. If no new manager is assigned, the oldest member is automatically promoted
Removing a team member revokes their access to all team prompts immediately
Team plans are billed to the team manager. All team members receive the plan's features at no additional cost

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Keep My Prompts offers free and paid plans (individual and team):

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We never store your card data
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the billing period
You can cancel at any time from your account settings or via the Stripe customer portal
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
Plan features and limits (prompts, categories, AI usage) may change. Active subscribers will be notified of material changes

9. Prohibited Use

You may not use Keep My Prompts to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Interfere with the operation of the service
Use AI features to generate content that violates third-party rights or content policies
Circumvent usage limits or abuse the AI optimization features

10. Limitation of Liability

Keep My Prompts is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, interruptions of service, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. AI features (Prompt Score, Promptimizer Agent) provide suggestions only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

11. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion from the Settings page. The deletion process works as follows:

After requesting deletion, a 14-day grace period begins during which you can cancel the deletion via a link sent to your email
During the grace period, you cannot log in to your account
After 14 days, all your data is permanently deleted, including prompts, categories, tags, versions, ratings, and account information
If you have an active Stripe subscription, it will be automatically cancelled upon deletion request
Account deletion is irreversible after the grace period expires

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or notification on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, subject to the deletion process described in Section 10.
